Regularly check and maintain the fuse connectors in the PV system

Regular inspection and maintenance of the fuse connectors in the photovoltaic system is very important work, the specific steps are as follows:

1. Check the appearance of the fuse
First of all, observe the appearance of the fuse body regularly to see whether there are abnormal phenomena such as wear, corrosion, color change or mechanical damage. If a problem is found, the fuse needs to be replaced in time.

2. Measure fuse resistance
Use a multimeter to measure the resistance at both ends of the fuse and check that it is within the normal range. If the resistance is abnormally high, the fuse may be faulty and also needs to be replaced.

3. Clean the fuse holder
The fuse holder is easy to accumulate dust, corrosion, etc., which will affect the electrical conductivity. Therefore, clean the fuse holder regularly with a clean rag or brush to maintain a good contact state.

4. Check the fuse connection
Ensure that the connection between the fuse and the fuse holder is firm and reliable, without loosening or poor contact. Tighten the fixing screws properly if necessary.

5. Record fuse usage
Set up a fuse use ledger, record the model, installation location, replacement date and other information of each fuse. This facilitates timely detection of problems and action.

6. Replace the fuse timely
According to the actual use, when the fuse life is near the end, to replace the new fuse in time. Generally 3-5 years to replace once is a more appropriate cycle.

Through these inspection and maintenance measures, it can be ensured that the fuse of the photovoltaic system is always in good working condition, play its due protective role, and improve the safety and reliability of the system.
